After an early arrival at Holme was rewarded with excellent views of 7 Spoonbills, the sea failed to live up to expectations. Checking out the Gulls and Terns around thornham harbour however produced 2 moulting adult Black terns and 1 Little Gull as compensation.

Black Tailed Godwits Redwell Marsh

Groups of Black tailed Godwits are now regular visitors to Holme Marsh.This group of 72 was an impressive sight in the late afternoon sunlight
